It's a well-used item in many kitchens, but health experts say a microwave that is leaking radiation can cause a range of health problems. Radiation expert Professor Magda Havas, of Trent University in the UK, says while microwaves are suposed to have mechanisms to protect against leaks, many still emit harmful radiation. "I've tested over a dozen of the most popular brands, and every single one that I've tested has leaked," she told the Daily Mail. As our bodies are largely made of water, they readily absorb radiation. From promoting cataracts to leading to changes in blood vessels, she described the ways regular use of microwaves may be harming our health. Read Article |

TEST&TAG TeamAs part of the TEST&TAG team the company is endeavoring to grow its culture among staff and family and this was our first year participating in the 2015 Round The Bays with staff and family. This was also the first year TEST&TAG entered a company cricket team to recognise the forthcoming World Cup. Unfortunately, we did not do the best but had a great competition. At TEST&TAG it is not just the systems and technology that makes us great, but the people being the most important part and recognising them.

Double-barrel rollTEST&TAG's commitment to delivery of its services saw the start of a partnership between TEST&TAG and Ssang Yong New Zealand. Ssang Yong now provide 2WD and 4WD drive vehicles to all of our out-of-city technicians that have to contend with more diverse and challenging driving conditions. This ensures our services can be delivered with greater safety for our team. Part of this relationship was to race one of these slightly modified utes in the Ssang Yong Actyon Series by company director, Ben Forrest. However, he got more than he anticipated during race 3 at Pukekohe with a spectacular double-barrel role all of his own doing, then continued to drive away. |
